Visual Presentation + Talk Back

Ever since the launch of our first book, The Toothless Puppy: A Tale of Differences, we have been busier than a family of bees, and we absolutely love it! It is so rewarding to give children and families a great story. It’s nice to know that our audiences enjoy the book just as much as we enjoyed writing it!

One event in particular that we are incredibly excited about is coming up in the spring—on Saturday, May 20th, at The Pocket Theatre in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood we will be doing a live reading of our book followed by a talk back about our creative process. We’ll be telling the story and presenting each page on a projector for all to see, sharing our story boards, talking about each step in the making of the book, and of course sharing the final product! We’ll have lots of treats, as well, and of course children are highly recommended to attend!

We hope you can join us in this celebration!

Story Time at The Never-Ending Book Shop

On Saturday, April 22nd at 1pm, we will be doing story time at "The Never Ending Book Shop" in downtown Bothell! If you haven't been, this is an adorable, little book shop, that is absolutely worth the visit!

In addition to story time, we will also have our book for sale and be open for any kinds of questions about writing a children's book, the creative process, or really anything you want to ask us!

Here's the facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/162924014217126/

Hope to see you there!

"Drop Everything and Read" Event at the Seattle Children's Museum

We are pleased to announce that we will be having a story time session at the "Drop Everything and Read" event at the Seattle Children's Museum on April 12th! This is a fabulous event that encourages children to read and talk about it! Come celebrate this fun, national holiday by spending just a little extra time in each exhibit to read a bit more, make your very own bookmark, and be an active listener and participant in Story Time!

We hope you can make it! This is a great event to share with your child, especially as it happens over Spring Break! For more information, please visit: www.thechildrensmuseum.org
